Ventricular fibrillation is the most common cause of cardiac arrest. It is a rapid, chaotic, lethal rhythm of the heart. In this condition the heart is unable to contract and therefore unable to pump life sustaining oxygenated blood to the brain and other vital organs. Defibrillation is defined as the termination of fibrillation.
It is a controlled electrical shock, which may restore an organised rhythm in the heart to enable it to contract and pump blood.
The fee for this is £600.00 for 8 candidates. Fees are inclusive of instruction and all course materials and a certificate of attendance valid for 1 year. To book a course or to discuss dates, a venue and course times please contact our principal trainer by clicking here.
